Some individuals choose to buy art and hang it in their homes. Some people, like this 67-year-old grandma, like to cover their body in it and use it proudly anywhere they go.
This Is Certainly Charlotte Guttenburg, currently the world-record owner for “Most Tattooed Senior (Female)”.
Amazingly, Charlotte only got her very first tattoo in 2006. Her previous husband had prohibited the lady from getting inked but, as he died, Charlotte went and got her first tattoo.
Simply a decade later the now 67-year-old Charlotte is covered in ink, with 91.5% of her human body tattooed — and she’s planning on more, although room has become a concern.
Charlotte states her tattoo-addiction is much more than simply a hobby, explaining it as a “powerful, old art” that needs to be respected. She considers by herself a “walking art gallery”.
“Every tattoo I have has a definition in my experience,” she describes, “They all get one theme and movement into a story.”
Charlotte, who’s a copywriter and life mentor in Florida, US, now lives together lover and other Guinness world-record Holder, Chuck Helmke.
